Jammu, Nov 17: BSF Sr Sec School Paloura outshined the athletics performance of all the other participating schools by claiming seven Gold, three silver and one bronze in the recently concluded Inter District Games organised by DYSS Jammu at BSF Stadium Jammu.
According to school spokesperson From BSF Sr Sec School students namely Richa Mandla, Tayaba, Alisha and Sakshi were the star performers. "Richa won 02 Gold and 01 Silver, Tayaba won 03 Gold and 01 Silver, Alisha won 01 Gold and 1 Silver and Sakshi won 01 gold and 01 Bronze," the spokesperson said.
" The relay team (4X400 mtrs won Gold medal, spokesperson said and added, "Arushi Kotwal of the same school participated in First All India Fide Railing Chess Tournament 2014 held at Bhuwaneshwar Odisha and clinched first prize comprising a trophy and cash award of Rs 10,000.
Spokesperson also added that another student from school Ritik Verma, claimed second prize in Inter School Painting Competition held at Banyan International School on November 15. |
