Indian Trans Art Group organizes International Exhibition of Paintings, Prints

JAMMU, Jan 20: An International Exhibition of Paintings and Prints titled Global Relations which was organized by Indian Trans Art Group in collaboration with Kala Kendra Jammu on 16th January, 2015 concluded here at Kala Kendra, Jammu. Eight artists from Australia, Pakistan and India participated in this Exhibition with twenty four works.
The participating Australian artists include Paul Eves (Printmaker) work title:"Vinyl traces working" in Gravure Print technique depicts the importance of scratched surfaces representing the human life. Jessica Grace (Printmaker) work title: "Boundaries of Moonera- I" depicts that everything has a limit like the meeting of the sea and sky. Jeremy Plint has done paintings on the theme of 'The Dark Art of Alchemy'. Iram Wani - artist from Pakistan has participated in graphic section with the printmaking in Collagraph technique. In her work she has depicted the role of women in the society. Indian segment of exhibition includes Jammu based artists Lovesh Sharma (Printmaker). Parveen Kumar (Print Maker), Sushil Bharti (Painter) and Suneel Dutt (Painter) -all of them aluminis of Institute of Music & Fine Arts, Jammu. Lovesh Sharma coordinated the organizing the show.
His work title: "Fantasy 1". depicts the happening of society in present times. Parveen Kumar (Printmaker) work titled: "Affection" depicts the relationship between male and female. Suneel Dutt (Painter) work titled: (Landscape) depicts in abstract style with bold patches of brush depicts nature in its varied moods. Sushil Bharti (Painter) work titled: "Nightmare depicts the fear of war which always exists in some corner of Human brain.
The Exhibition had a great response in respect of visits by well known artists like Padamshree Rajinder Tiku, Gokal Dembi, Dr. Lalit Gupta, Bhushan Kesar, Jang S. Verman, Jagpal Singh, Dr. Raj Kumar, Sonu Aggarwal, Chander Prakash, Vikas Khajuria, Naushad Gayoor, Ahju Jamwal, Amarjeet Singh, other intellectuals and writers and a large number if college and university students as well as other art lovers.
