CPPWU demanded CBI probe into back door appointments in CVPPL project

KISHTWAR, Jan 20: An executive body meeting of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union(CPPWU) District Kishtwar was held today under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari.
The meeting was attended by all the executive members of the union.
Addressing the workers, Bhandari said that the Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL), a joint venture company has set aside all the recruitment norms and managed to appointment of hundreds of youths from outside the state through back door in Pakal Dul, Kiro and Kawar hydroelectric projects at the cost of the deserving educated unemployed youths of the area for which the union has sent a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking probe through CBI.
Anil Sharma, Vice President of the union appealed all the educated unemployed youths to remain united and be prepared to fight for their own cause and threatened to launch dharma and strikes in case the youths appointed through back door in CVPPL are not removed immediately .
