| MLA Rajesh reiterates resolve to make Jammu City as 'tourist destination' | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 20: Senior BJP leader and MLA-elect from Jammu East Constituency Rajesh Gupta reiterated his resolve to make Jammu City as one of the favourite destinations of tourists visiting Jammu and Kashmir State.
Rajesh stated this while addressing a function organized by Jain Samaj to felicitate him on his victory here at W-2, Jain Bazaar falling under Jammu East constituency on Tuesday.
Expressing his gratefulness, the BJP-MLA thanked the people for their overwhelming support during the Assembly polls and said that their support has given him the opportunity to transform Jammu East constituency into a model constituency for uplifting the living standard of its residents besides giving fillip to the prevailing business establishments as the place is famous for its trade activities. Referring to Mahashivratri Mela at famous Peerkhoo Shrine, MLA further said that roadmap for the said Mela has been chalked out in collaboration with the tourism department and soon the work on edifice to cater to the needs of devotees and visitors will be started to ensure hassle free arrangements. Earlier President S S Jain Samaj Honda, General Secretary Raman Jain, Vijay Verma General Secretary, Lucky Jain Secretary, Parijan Jain President Sarafa Association, Kulb- ushan Anand District President and Rajesh Nischal Vice President felicitated Rajesh Gupta MLA and reposed their confidence in his leadership. The Jain Community assured him that they will co-operate him in his endeavour to ensure welfare of people. |
