APSA demands implementation of fare concession for students

kishtwar, Jan 20: All Polytechnic Student Association (APSA) today demanded implementation of government order with regard to 50% fair concession for the students for all seven days of the week.
State General Secretary All Polytechnic Student Association (APSA) J & K Hanan Malik raising the demand today stated that neither transporters nor matador (minibus) conductors were charging 50% fare from the students in all most all the Districts of state especially in Jammu city and its adjoining areas. He said that the students traveling in commercial vehicle for tuition class, the matador conductors denied the benefits of concessional fares to the students and urged up on the Regional Transport Officer Jammu as well as to all Assistant Regional Transport Officers of the state to implement the government order and demanded stern action against the violators of the government order. He also mentioned that the fuel prices have been reduced several times in last few month, but the fare remains the same.
