JAMMU, Jan 29: The Jammu and Kashmir State Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) in collaboration with Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) Government of India, and District Industries Centre, (DIC) Jammu, organised a State Level Workshop under Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) here today. Financial Commissioner, Industries and Commerce, Khursheed Ahmad Ganai inaugurated the workshop while Secretary in Industries and Commerce Surabh Bhagat was the guest of honour on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion the Financial Commissioner said that aim and objective of the workshop is to provide a platform to the entrepreneurs, bankers, senior officers of I&C, KVIB and KVIC to share their views through an open house regarding the schemes in vogue and the techniques for implementing the same effectively. Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu Abdul Rashid, Deputy CEO, KVIB Santosh Saraf, senior officers of KVIB, KVIC, Industries and Commerce Department, representatives of various Banks, large number of entrepreneurs, representatives of NGOs, Panchs and Sarpanchs attended the day long workshop. |
