KC Public School participates in Road Safety Week 1/31/2015 10:22:06 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 31: K C Public School today participated in the road safety week rally organized by Motor Vehicles Department. Students carrying placards with catchy messages of road safety measures highlighted the theme of the year, "Safety is not just a slogan. It is a way of life". The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of the students in painting competition on the theme, "Effects of vehicular pollution and safety measures". The scouts also took p0art in symposium. The theme of the symposium was "Importance of Road Safety". It was a great learning experience for the scouts and guides, said school administration. The event brought awareness about road safety measures which is the imperative need of the hour. The Principal appreciated the initiatives taken by Rita Sharma, the teacher in charge of scouting and the students for getting involved in a programme which is very meaningful and purposeful.
