LWS stages Hindi play ‘Budhapey ki Peeda’ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 31: Lalded Women Society (LWS) has staged Nukkad play 'Budhapey Ki Peeda' at village Jhang as per its ongoing Saturday series. According to press release the play was written by Ram Paul and directed by Naveen Pal. The story revolves around on an 'old man' who is made confined by his own family members, to his room only and he is leading a miserable life. His old ideas were disliked by all and he was disrespected all the time under the cover of modernity by his family members. One day he entered another room to collect his medicine which was not traced by him in the room. On this his 'Bhabhi' started crying that 'old man' has bad intention and She alleged that his eyes are blinking. He felt ashamed of but tried to clear the purpose. He also cleared that at this age he can't think of such things. but ,after listening louder words; every family member came outside and started rebuking old man instead of clearing the facts. Meanwhile his friend came to his house to enquire well being and said that I had gone with him to the hospital and after checking his eye sight, doctor gave him medicine. His friend further clarifies that his eyes were blinking for so many days and he had problems of such type which was misunderstood by his 'Bhabhi'. His friend also suggested that old age persons be respected instead of giving a degraded comment as the senior citizens are our respectable who always think for our betterment. Their respect and dignity must be respected at all costs so that a family may prosperously go forward. The lead roles played were Rampaul, Naveen, Santosh Basotra, Kanchan and Kanta. |
