Contractual employees of JKSACS demand regularization | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Feb 13: The Contractual employees of J&K state Aids Control Society today demanded regularization of their contractual services at par with the services of other contractual employees of various other departments regularized by the government from time to time. In a press statement issued by Shahnawaz Ahmad Kotwal, State President J&K state Aids Control Employees Association has said that the government of Jammu & Kashmir has framed a policy for the regularization of all such contractual employees who are working under state government and have completed seven years of service, whereas the state government has failed to frame any policy for the contractual employees of Centrally sponsored schemes like NACO, NHM, RNTCP and others who are working in these departments for the last more than 10 years. "It is very unfortunate that when we approach to central government, we have been pushed towards state government and when we approach state government, we have been asked to approach Central government" said Shahnawaz, added that they were neither accepted by central government and nor by state government for regularization. He said that they like other employees are the citizens of India, but all they treated us as Non Indian as and when matter of fulfilling their genuine demands was raised. |
