JTC holds meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 13: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir front was held here today under the Presidentship of Shadi Lal Pandita. According to press release, the meeting was attended by the office bearers and members of both the organizations. During the course of meeting the participants have expressed their grave concern over the slackness of the government in enhancing the cash assistance relief in favour of the Kashmiri Migrant relief holders, though recommendations have already been made in this regard. "The participants have further said that the Govt. has failed in implementing the Prime Minister's employment package for Kashmiri Migrant Youth" Shadi lal Pandita said, adding that out of 6000 posts announced by the then Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh only 2000 posts have been filled and the remaining posts are yet to be advertised and filled. Pandita has said that since the educated youth are unemployed facing the miseries as such the employment package needs to be implemented in letter and spirit. The participants have appealed for sanctioning additional 3000 posts for class IV so that those candidates who could not continue their studies beyond matriculation due to financial hardships are absorbed in the Govt. jobs. Hari Krishan, S.L Kar, Sunil Raina, Rajinder Dhar, Sanjay Pandita, Shuban Raina, Ramesh Bhat, Vijay Pandita, M.L. Akoon, Gopi Nath Shah, M.L. Pandita and S.N. Gurtoo were also present on the occasion. |
