MLC seat for POJK Refugees demanded 2/13/2015 11:11:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 13: A meeting of BJP Sharnarthi Cell was organized here today at Gadhigarh under the leadership of its Convener Vijay Kumar Sharma, Sarpanch Panchayat Rakh GadiGarh and demanded MLC seat for POJK Refugees. The meeting unanimously adopted a resolution under which it was decided to apprize the party high command regarding fulfilment of long pending demands of 1947-DPs residing all over the Jammu province. The meeting further resolved that DPs of 1947 were ignored in all sphere of life by the successive governments since last over 65 years. The participants took serious concern that since party high command during Parliament as well State Assembly elections concluded recently had elaborately announced provision of eight(8) Assembly seats for DPs of 1947 out of 24 assembly seats already reserved for residents of PoJK but it is still a distant dream for DPs of 1947. In view of such announcements POJK Refugees of 1947 came out openly in support of BJP all over Jammu elections despite facts that many other political parties fielded refugee candidates.
