JAMMU, Feb 13: Students XI, comprised of ninth and 10th classes, today lost to their teachers by 31 runs in a friendly match played at MHAC Nagbani School ground, here.
Earlier, batting first, after Students won the toss and opted to field, Teachers XI set a target of 158 runs in 15 overs game. The partnership between Vishal and Principal, Alok Betab proved to be most useful with Vishal scoring highest 84 runs.
In reply, Students XI could not chase the total and completed their innings for 126 runs to lose the game by 31 runs.
For his brilliant innings of 31 runs, Vishal was declared man of the match. |
