POONCH, Feb 13: Power House XI today registered a comfortable six wickets win against Glamorous XI to pave way for next round of the Police Twenty20 Tournament underway at Government Degree College ground, here.
Batting first, Glamorous made 132 runs losing all their wickets. In reply, Power House XI chased the total in 16 overs for the loss of four wickets. Sunil Kumar made highest 48 runs while Gurvinder Singh added 17. Parvez and Nana Misre took three and two wickets respectively.
Meanwhile, in another match of the day, Amjad Club defeated Khalsa Club by 16 runs. Earlier, Amjad Club made 161 runs for three wickets, which, in reply, Khalsa could not chase the target and bowled out for 145 runs. In today's match, Principal of Boys Higher Secondary School Pooch, Kerit Singh was special guest. others present were DySP Khalid Ameen, Tariq khan , Harbans Singh and Kulmeet Singh. |
