Symposium on dowry system held 2/13/2015 11:35:40 PM Udhampur, Feb 13: Information department Udhampur organized a symposium on the Topic "Dowry System: a blot on society" in the premises of Government High School Jandrari of Sub Division Ramnagar, here today. As many as 13 students participated in the symposium. The participants depicted their serious concern over the Dowry system. Headmaster of the host school, Jeevan Kumar Deman was the chief guest on the occasion. Samta Sharma of the host school adjudged first while Anu Kumari and Anita Kumari stood 2nd and 3rd respectively in the symposium contest. Besides Rakesh Kumar and Mohinder Kumar bagged consolation prizes.
