Association appeals state govt to resdressal pending demands | | | Early Times Report jammu, Feb 13: Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee (JKGE&WJAC) appealed to the state government to fulfill al the pending demands of the employees on Friday. According to press release, a meeting was organized under the chairmanship of state president Babu Hussian Malik and highlighted various pending issues. Addressing the gathering, state president Babu Hussian Malik said that all the pending demands including removal of pay anomalies/disparity of Clerical cadre and release the pending 17 percent DA installments. He also criticized the state government for deliberately betraying from the commitment made between the employees and the Government on March 10, 2008, February 19, 2009, May 14, 2010 and September 15, 2011 wherein it was promised to fulfill all the agreed demands of the employees but nothing has been done in this regard till date. While, member apprised the government about the plight of the clerical cadre employees of the stale end described the Clerical cadre as the backbone of the State administration working from dawn till dusk with full integrity and dedication performing multiple tasks but at the time of Salary and perks, the clerks are always given step motherly treatment and ignored at every step. They urged the Governor NN Vohra to short out the long pending demands of the employees as soon as possible. Among other who were present in the meeting included Ahmad Dewani, Javeed Ahmad Akhonn, Bharat Bushan, Yashpal Sharma, Nazir Ahmad and others. |
