Islami Jamiat Tulba to observe Haya Day today 2/14/2015 12:04:37 AM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 13: Islami Jamiat Tulaba, the student wing of Jamat-i-Islami is organizing Haya day throughout the valley on February 14. The programme is organized to make the youth aware about the importance of modesty in Islam and counsel them to adhere by the teachings of Islam. The Jamiat has been organizing Hafta Haya throughout the week, while as the 'Haya' day coincides with the Valentine day. A spokesperson of the organization said that Haya day is to counter the bad effects of the Valentine day on the youth and keep them away from the 'immoral' acts that the western countries are going through. The organization will carry counseling sessions in hotels, public parks and coaching centers to aware young boys and girls about the importance of modesty and the adverse effects that the western culture can have on them.
