Samba, Mar 21: A man was killed after being knocked down by a speeding SOG vehicle at Vijaypur near here this morning. Anil Sharma, son of Madan Lal Sharma of railway colony, Vijaypur, was walking by the roadside when a speeding SOG vehicle hit.
Bleeding profusely, he was evacuated by locals to Viajypur hospital. He was later referred to GMCH, Jammu, but he died on the way, police sources said.
The incident occurred at about 7.10 am when he was going to perform a ritual of his father who died in the recent past. He is survived by his mother Ratno Devi, two brothers, two sisters, wife and two children. Police had registered a case in this connection. |
