Jammu, Mar 24: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) president Subash Shastri today demanded from Prime Minister, Union Finance Minister and Minister of State, (PMO) to immediately grant special package for the regularization of sixty one thousand casual/seasonal laborers who are working in the various departments of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing media persons, Shastri reminded the collation government to fulfill their commitment and to resolve the sensitive issue on priority basic during the election rallies of recently conducted State Assembly election in presence of Prime Minister, if voted to power.
He further said that the BJP led NDA Govt. will rescue state by providing special package particularly for the purpose so that the long pending demand of these poor daily rated workers get fulfilled.
While, welcome the decision of State Government to create 3660 posts of helpers for regularization of an equal number of daily rated workers. Need for creating separate Head in each department for their timely disbursement of wages. Rajan Babu Khajuria, Sunil Kochar, Surinder Kumar, Pardeep Kumar, Jaipaul Sharma, Surjeet Kumar, Bhupinder Singh, Sudesh Kumar and Paramjeet were also present on the occasion. |
