| Balgran - school for differently abled children holds meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 24: Governing Body of Balgran -a Charitable Home for Destitute Children, Channi Rama, Jammu held it meeting and deliberated upon issues related to ease admission norms for deserving children without any hassles and decided to revise existing criteria for admission of destitute/ orphans/ natural calamities and militancy affected children from neglected section of Society.
During the meeting the members informed common masses that parents/ wards of school going children (special children) between 5-9 years. 'Age proof from School/Municipal! Police authorities Maximum Age relaxable upto one year in exceptional cases, the spokesperson of school said while adding, "family Income shall be up to Rs.5000/- per month Income and certificate from Revenue authorities not below the rank of Naib Thesildar/any member of Governing Body of Balgran/ Sarpanch of the village."
Members said that Head of family/guardian of the child should furnish affidavit duly attested by Notary.
Pertinent to mention that Balgran has infra- structure to admit 30(thirty) children during 2015-16 and it provides free boarding/lodging, education, health care, vocational and computer training besides extra-curricular activities in Culture and Sports.
