JAMMU, Mar 24: J K Public School Kunjwani today organized an awareness camp to aware the students and locals about the menace of Tuberculosis (TB) to mark the World Tuberculosis (TB) Day 2015 which is celebrated across the globe on this day
School spokesperson said, "the students and faculty members assembled in a special assembly session in which student spoke on 'Reach, Treat, Cure Everyone, the theme for World Tuberculosis (TB) Day 2015.
During the special assembly, Akashdeep Sharma, Class XII Medical, spoke about the ill effects of tuberculosis and taboos attached to the ailment. The speaker also called for commitment in the global fight against TB which is the world's top infectious killer. It was also emphasized that the disease can be easily treated if proper medication is taken by the patient.
