POONCH, Mar 24: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Wrestling Association, the 20th Men and VI Women Wrestling Association got underway at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today. Around 150 wrestlers drawn from all over the state, including those from districts of Poonch, Doda, Jammu, Srinagar, Samba, Reasi, Ramban, Udhampur and department team of J&K Police have reported for the two-day competition to be held in different weight categories. The competition was declared open by Director General, Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Navin Agarwal, who was chief guest. The distinguished gathering was welcomed by president of the Association, Dushyant Sharma. Vote of thanks presented by general secretary, Ajay Vaid. Among others present were Chief Sports Officer, Abdul Qayoom, Sports Officer, Rajan Sharma, Managers, Ravi Singh, Satish Gupta and SP Singh as also Vikas Gupta, Raju Pahalwan, Amit, Dheeraj Sharma, Rakesh, Sukhdev.
