Jammu, Mar 24: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) today held meeting under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita in which the participants have expressed their grave concern over the attitude of the coliation Government of PDP and BJP in the State for ignoring and Depriving the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community, as no mentioned has been made in the Budget presented in the State Legislature.
According to press release, members of committee have warned the Government (Collation) to desist from anti Kashmiri Pandit community policy and taking into confidence anti national elements/militants.
While addressing the participants Shadi Lal Pandita has warned the collation Government that Kashmir belongs to Kashmiri Pandits who are the original residents of Kashmir and no dialogue can be meaning full without participation of the members of Kashmiri Pandit community in such dialogues.
It has further been said that BJP has totally surrendered before PDP by ignoring its agenda.The participants have asked the government for extending Minority status to Kashmiri Pandit community and those parties who are opposing minority status to Kashmiri Pandit community have been asked to keep away from such activities. The Government has been warned if the demand of the community is not fulfilled the community will knock the doors of Hon'ble court for seeking justice. Inderjee Labroo, Vijay Pandita, Ramesh Bhat, Sham Lal Tickoo, Rajinder Dhar, Sunil Raina, Sanjay Pandita, Methan Pandita, S.L. Kar, Vijay Pandita, M.L. Akhoon, M.L. Pandita, C.L. Pandita and Ram Krishan Pandita were also present on the occasion.
