Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 21: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee and Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party have ridiculed the new recruitment policy introduced by state government.
According to press release, JKPCC Vice President and MLC G N Monga has termed the recently announced recruitment policy by PDP-BJP government as cheating with youth of the state.
Monga in a press statement on Tuesday reminded the coalition government of its promises made with the youth of the state before and during the elections. "Tall promises the PDP and BJP had made to the people and especially youth are proving to be a hoax with the new recruitment policy unmasking its claims that youth will be its priority," he said.
The J&K Congress Vice President said that PDP-led government had pledged transparency will be hallmark of its functioning but now it is cheating unemployed educated youth in the name of new recruitment policy. "Where have the transparency claims of PDP-BJP government gone? It (recruitment policy) is cheating with youth as it will in no way benefit them. It is contrary to the government claims," Monga added.
Urging the government to reconsider its decision, he said, "The recruitments should be done in a transparent and time bound manner. The policy is bound to fail on ground as it will be marred by the political affiliations at the district levels."
Meanwhile, Pushvinder Manhas, Sr. Vice-President Young Panthers said that the said policy should make youth feel affected by anxiety and stress. He said that as per New Recruitment Policy all fresh appointments will be made on contractual basis and the appointees regularized after putting in seven years of satisfactory service but government failed to take decision on the fate of thousands of contractual already working with various departments. Not only this, thousands of contractual teachers and other contractual employees are being thrown out by the same government, he added.
New Recruitment Policy a replica of N.C - Congress wrong Recruitment Policy.
Abdul Majid Malik has said that the new recruitment Policy of BJP-PDP exposed the nexus policy of N.C - Congress and have put the careers of the lakhs of JK State qualified youths at state.
"Good Governance should not become a Mockery on the snatch of "Bread & Butter" of the state youths. This wrong recruitment policy shall disturb the whole state which is already Militancy torn state and BJP-PDP Govt. should not consume an other six years of the state people in such pre-planned turmoils in the state. Slogan, "SABKA SATH SABKA VIKAS" should not be changed into "SABKA SATH SABKA SATYA NAAS", he said.
