Jammu, Apr 21: Jammu Kashmir Plus-2 Lecturers Forum today in a meeting under the chairmanship of State president N S Jamwal and expressed concerned over the positing of few lecturers who have already rendered their two years in the Leh and Kargil.
According to press release, president of the demanded that the orders of these lecturers should be revoked and other lecturers who fall in the criteria should be posted in their place. They also expressed resentment over the posting of a KAS officer as Jt. Director, DSE, Kashmir that is the violation of SRO 481.
They demanded that the officers in the Directorates of Jammu and Kashmir as well as in JKBOSE be chosen exclusively from the Plus 2 cadre as they can run these offices and institutions more effectively because these officers being well familiar with the ground realities of the School Educaton Department.
They further demanded enhancement of the grade pay of Principals and declaration of their post as non vacational, removal of pay anomaly of lecturers in Physical Education, Running Pattern in favour of Plus 2 cadre, strict implementation of rational Transfer Policy and regularisation of all Jt. Directors, Chief Education Officers, Principals and lecturers serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department etc.
Prominent among others who addressed the meeting included Charan Dass, Tarsem Singh, Talib Hussain, Romesh Lal Sharma,Deepak Sharma, Pardeep Singh, Anil Sharma and others. |
