Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 21: To review the security scenario/Law and order situation of Jammu Zone, Danesh Rana, IPS, IGP Jammu Zone, Jammu today held a meeting with all Range DIsG and District SSsP of Jammu Zone at PCR Conference Hall, Jammu and sought updates regarding the security scenario. On the border management front, IGP Jammu Zone Danesh Rana stressed upon all the District SSsP to lay Joint Nakas on all the infiltration routes. "All Border Police Stations/ Police Posts be strengthened. Night Patrolling on National Highway be conducted and a close liaison be maintained with all forces deployed in their area of jurisdictions, he said. IGP Jammu, expressed his concern over the cases of chain snatching in Jammu and drug peddlers where further efforts were required to be made to check these kinds of Crime. Stressing for people friendly attitude, he said, "This needs to be exhibited at all levels and a professional approach be developed in investigating crime of public significance cases. He added general conduct of Police especially subordinate ranks to common people has to be helping/ cordial and not rude and indifferent.
