IRP distributes school bags, stationery items under CAP

REASI, Apr 23 : Under the Civic Action Programme IRP 1st Battalion today distributed books and other stationery items among seventy poor and orphan students during a program organized at Government Middle School Biagund Judda, Arnas.
On the occasion SSP IRP 1st Batallian-T R Katoch was the chief guest. DySP-Imtiaz Ahmad, Headmasters and staff of the various schools, members of PRIs and a large number of local people were also present .
Speaking on the occasion, Katoch informed that under the civic action programme JKP provides adequate assistance to destitute, orphans and needy students in remote areas of the state.
He also urged upon the students to take part in co-curricular activities for their overall personality development and exhorted upon the teaching fraternity to impart quality education to the children and inculcate a sense of discipline among them so that they can compete at national and international levels.
