PHQ bids adieu to DIG Parminder Singh

JAMMU, Apr 23: Police Headquarters (PHQ) today extended an impressive farewell to Paminder Singh, Dy. Inspector General of Police, (Administration) PHQ here today.
Singh is superannuating from service this month.
Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar, lauded the contribution of Singh during his long service career and said that he is one of the professional officers of the Organization. He said that Police Organization has achieved heights of excellence due to the dint of its professional officers like Parminder Singh, who rendered an exemplary service and has always been loyal to the law.
Rajendra, while commenting on the service rendered by the dynamic and upright officer said that he has worked on different assignments in the Organization viz SDPO Mendhar and Samba, SSP Rajouri, Ganderbal, Jammu, Vigilance and Director SSG (J&K) and DIG (Administration), PHQ and has always come up to the aspiration of the department. He proved himself as an asset, sincere and dedicated officer in the service of the public and the Organization feels proud of having such officers on its rolls, he added.
On this occasion, Singh deliberated on his experiences in various wings of the organization and said that he has always tried to deliver with dedication and sincerely. He said that he has always been proud of serving people of the State through police organization.
Among others, the function was attended by ADGPs, SP Vaid, Dilbagh Singh and L. Mohanti, IGPs, Dr. B. Srinivas, Arun Kumar, HK Lohia, Mukesh Singh and Jagjit Kumar, Director Prosecution, Pawan Kumar, AIGs, Sheikh Junaid Mahmood, Rajeshwar Singh, Tahir Sajjad, Kulbir Singh and Sheikh Zulfikar Azad, SP.
