Doda, May 5 : It is now 25 years, since the establishment of Government Degree College Doda, but still college lack basic infrastructure facilities in terms of workforce.
According to sources, only 30 posts of stands sanctioned for Assistant but only seven are in place, due to inadvertent transfers.
The big library which is otherwise automated is being run by the Library bearer in the absence of Chief librarian/Assistant Librarian/Librarian post, sources said.
The post of Assistant Physical director also stands vacant since 2007.
It is also mentioned here, that only 3 posts are sanctioned in the class IV cadre, in terms of 30 posts as the minimum requirement of the college. The same is the position in class 2nd cadre of ungazetted.
Only two post of senior assistant and two posts of junior assistant are sanctioned for the college and there is no post of section officer (SO), Head Assistant, Account Officer. Though the NCC both boys and women wings are functional, but the women wing is being managed by unprofessional due to scarcity of female staff in the college. |
