 Jammu, June 23: Radio Kashmir Jammu has condoled the demise of former senior announcer Sunanda Padha, who breathed her last on 21st of June after a brief illness. According to press release, a condolence meeting was organized, which was presided over by deputy director general (Engineering) RK Jammu KK Singh, which was attended by several other members. Rich tributes were paid to the departed soul. Two minutes silence was also observed on the occasion. Sunanda Padha had started her broadcasting career in seventies and retired in 2010. She is particularly remembered for her attractive voice and nice style of presentation. |
