Tawi trekkers to organize climbing camp for women at Jammu 6/23/2015 11:16:59 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 23 : In order to promote Sport climbing among girls and to strengthen the J&K state women team, Tawi Trekkers J&K is going to organise an 11 days summer coaching camp in sport climbing exclusively for girls. The camp is going to be held at Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, Jammu from 27th June to 7th July, 2015. The coaching shall be imparted by Anil Kumar, a sport climbing coach who shall be assisted by national women climbers. The club uses only international standard climbing equipment for training as well as competitions. The climbers who excel during these camps shall also be deputed for further coaching at International standard climbing walls at Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi, the national body for adventure sports in the country.
