JAMMU, June 23: Gandhi Global Family, United Nations Information Center New Delhi, Youth Hostel Association of India, in collaboration with Vichar Kranti Manch Int'l and J&K State Bharat Scouts & Guides, Jammu, celebrated international Yoga day at State HQ Bharat Scouts & Guides, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, in a most befitting and enthusiastic manner.
I.D.Soni, State Commissioner, BS&G was the chief guest and Padamshree S.P Verma presided over the occasion while K.K.Gandotra, D.R.Danish. Wing Comm. M.M.Joshi, Dr Taran Singh, Prof Sarla Kohli and Shushma Misri were the guests of honor on the occasion.
Padamshree S.P.Verma, State President Gandhi Global Family said that Yoga is an integral part of human life and it adds unfathomable energy and beauty to body, mind and soul.
K.K.Gandotra, Dr. Taran Singh, D.R.Danish, Shreyansh Kumar Jain, Gopal Sharma, Shoba Ram also spoke on the occasion and said that Yoga is almost indispensable and if we want to be sane, sensitive, sensible, strong and intuitive, we have to practice Yoga regressly.
I.D.Soni, chief guest of the function in his address said that Yoga is skill in action and science of union.
Shreyansh Kumar Jain, President VKMI conducted the whole programme in a most charming and elegant manner with his usual informative sermons having life experiences and inspiring and motivating spirit. Every one appreciated his sermons and assured that they had benefitted a lot to listen to him.
