| Traders allegedly assault each other | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 21: Two shopkeepers allegedly assaulted each other over a petty issue and inflicted injuries to each other here today in Bishnah area.
The injured have been identified namely as Rakesh Gupta alias Billa s/o Baldev Raj of Bishnah and Aayu s/o Rakesh Kumar who allegedly attacked Rakesh with a sharp-edged weapon.
Sources said that Rakesh Gupta alias Billa while was on his way to home after closing his shop was intercepted by Aayu s/o Rakesh Kumar. The interceptor assaulted Rakesh with sharp-edged weapon, sources said and added that meantime, Rakesh snatched the sharp-edged weapon from Aayu and inflicted injuries to him."
"The confronting duo sustained injuries and later were shifted to nearby hospital by locals, sources said. Meanwhile Police said that they have received complaints from both the parties and during preliminary investigations it came to fore that both rivals have shops in neighbourhood and had heated arguments few days ago. |
