Village fair organized on Raksha Bandhan 8/29/2015 11:22:10 PM Early Times Report Doda, Aug 29: A village fair was organized at Sitla Mata temple Thawa Kuluhand to mark the celebration of Raksha Bandhan. The fair is a historic event to for the people of the Siraj area in general and Kuluhand in particular. This fair marks the celebrations of the Raksha Bandhan and is organised on the occasion of Shrawan Purnima every year. The proceedings of the fair begin with the paying obedience in the temple and chanting of Aarti of the Devine godess Sitla and culminated with traditional dance called Siraji Kud. People from different parts of the earstwhile district Doda and from all walks of life participated in this festival.
