Ex mayor meets border firing victims at hospital

RS Pura, Aug 29: Ex-Mayor and President All India Jat Mahasabha, Choudhary Manmohan Singh Jammu visited hospital and enquired about the welfare of the civilians injured in the Pakistan firing on International border at RS Pura sector.
Accusing successive governments, he said whenever cross firing take place, the jat community bears the consequences but the State as well as Central Government have done nothing for the victims of border firing or residents of the area.
He alleged that the ministers are visiting area only for taking space in headlines instead of redressing the demands of the border areas including to provide safe place to them.
He further said two injured namely Pola Ram, Indro Devi wife of Karam Chand and Shivang Choudhary were shifted to private hospital and all medical expensive to be paid by him.
He appealed to Government to help subash chander who was a disabled person and had lost a leg now in firing.
