Khatana meets victims of ceasefire violation

Jammu, Aug 29: The Gujjar & Bakkerwal State President Choudhary Nazakat Khatana visited many areas of ceasefire violated border hit areas where a number of people died and injured. These areas included Harni, Baskar Bangla, Joda Farm and many other villages of Poonch and Rajouri districts. These people mostly belong to Gujjar Bakerwal community and had lost their life including livestock. Their crop fields were also damaged worth Lakhs of rupees due to heavy firing and motor shelling from other side of border. Talking to media persons, he said that this is the reward of both leaders of India and Pakistan for their promise of friendly and peaceful relations. Both the countries must make their talks fruitful and maintain peace and friendly relations. He also visited GMC Jammu where these border hit victims are admitted due to injuries. He inquired the admitted victims for their well being and early recovery.
