JAMMU, Aug 29 : Anu Sharma of district Kathua was leading with top score of 373 out of 400 in the junior women's category on the second day of the VIth State Shooting Championship, organized by the J&K Rifle Association at twin venues of Gulshan Ground and DPS School, here today. The men's categories too witnessed a close contest with Sarfrosh Sharma securing 365/400 in Youth Rifle and Utkarsh Mathur maintaining top position in Youth Pistol event with a score of 310/400. Similarly, in Youth women Pistol event, Saima Afzal was leading with a score of 251/400.
Today's competition witnessed besides others by general secretary of the Association, Sanam Sony, vice president, Narinder Bhatial, Amjad parvez, TS Tony and Sharat Chander. The competition is being conducted by Rajesh Virdhy and Tarun Dev Singh. |
