Jammu, Sept 3 : A three days' All India painters' Camp organized by Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts, (JKCCA), (Regd.), Jammu in collaboration with Eco Resorts, Aru, Pahalgam concluded at Aru, Pahalgam today. According to press release, the camp was inaugurated on 31st August, 2015. A closing ceremony was conducted on this occasion where Jenab ZafarIqbalManhas, Hon'ble MLC was the Chief Guest.. In his welcome address O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA & Convener of the camp welcomed the guests and expressed his views on the programmes of JKCCA which is working in the state since 1999.He sai that the organization is contributing in the fields of art, culture and literature and has conducted a number of programmes in and outside the state. Manhas in his address appreciated the role of JKCCA in promoting art & culture in and outside the state. He also appreciated that JKCCA is doing for the good cause of promoting its activities in the remote and far flung areas of the state. V S Rahi, veteran artist, N delhi,K S Gill , portrait expert and Dharminder Sharma from Amritsar, Jyoti Singh, Gaziabad, JehanAra, Germany, Preeti Singh, Lucknow, Dr. AmitaKhare, Gwalior, Tariq MehmoodSaifi and Dr. Alamdar, Surankote (Poonch), AslamNaqisbandi, Srinagar, Rouf Qyasi, Sopore and O P Sharma, Jammu attended the camp. |
