JAMMU, Sept 22: Vaishali R and Inian P of Tamil Nadu among all the top seeds were leading at the end of round two in the ongoing 41st National Sub Junior Chess Tournament, organised by All J&K Chess Association, here today.
With two rounds in a day in the morning and evening sessions, in total, 11 rounds will be played under Swiss League system in this event under the guidance of Nitin Shenvi of Maharashtra.
Nitin has been appointed as Chief Arbiter by the All India Chess Federation (AICF). He is being supported by six deputy arbiters from Assam, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan and hosts J&K. The hosts J&K has fielded a big contingent of 25 players in this national event so as to provide needed exposure to the upcoming boys and girls. |
