Jodhamal Public School hosts CBSE workshop

Jammu, Sep 23: Jodhamal Public School hosted a two day long CBSE training workshop for teachers of CBSE schools from Punjab, Himachal and J&K.
The workshop was held on 22 and 23 Sept 2015, on Scholastic aspect of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation. It was conducted by the two esteemed resource persons from CBSE, Rashmi Ahluwalia, Principal Montessori Cambridge School Pathankot and Anupama Sharma, Principal MCP D A V School Solan, H.P. The session began with the welcome address by the Principal, Trilok Singh Bist who welcomed the resource persons and all the present teachers. The resource person started by addressing the concerns of the teachers about the new system of evaluation, Rashmi Ahluwalia responded to the questions raised by the teachers on assessment and teaching methodology. The importance of language for the acquisition of knowledge and for the thinking process was emphasized in the workshop. The teachers were further clarified with the parameters of grading and assessment. Developing the rubrics for every task was also stressed.
