Seminar on drug addiction organized at PG College Bhaderwah 9/23/2015 11:01:19 PM Early Times Report bhaderwah, Sept 23: A seminar on drug addiction was organized by Majlis Tahaffuz Khatm-e-Nabowat in the premises of Government P G College Bhaderwah here today. On the occasion, SDM Bhaderwah Mohd Anwar Banday was the chief guest while Principal PG College Bhaderwah, Prof Syed Zaheer Abass Hashmi, SDPO Sajjad Khan, Mufti Anyatullah and renowned poet Alyas Malik were special guests. A large number of youth particularly students of different educational institutions also participated in the seminar and threw light on the topic. Speaking on the occasion, SDM Bhaderwah Mohd Anwar Banday said that it is extremely important to sensitize general population on crucial issue like Drug Addiction. He said that such seminars can go a long way in enlarging awareness about drug addiction and its negative fallouts. He said that the problem of drug addiction is required to be addressed very seriously and effectively and all the stakeholders need to contribute their efforts in this regard. In this context, he underscored the important role which the students can play in extending awareness about drug addiction.
