Early Times Report
NEW DELHI, Oct 1: Speaking to a deputation of Hindustan Antibiotics Limited (HAL) and another deputation of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) here today, Union Minister of State (MoS) in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh said, the current proposal for 600 km Katra-Amritsar-Delhi expressway will prove to be a "game changer" for traders, investors and business community. This, along with the earlier sanctioned first-ever Inter-State Keediyan-Gadyal Ravi Bridge near Kathua, will go down in the history as major milestones for all times, he added. Dr Jitendra Singh said, it goes to the credit of the NDA Government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that soon after it took over, the Katra-Vaishno Devi Railway Station was made functional and thereafter, a hi-tech weather forecast system was installed at Sanji Chhat at Vaishno Devi and now the country's longest Expressway corridor has also been mooted for Katra. Personally, he said, it is a matter of pride for him that all these milestones have happened during his tenure as Member of Parliament (MP) from the area. Dr Singh also informed that the tendering process has started for the first ever Inter-State Ravi Bridge at Keediyan-Gadyal near Kathua which was sanctioned by his efforts last year. |
