| One held with stolen mobike | | | Rajouri, Oct 1: Police have arrested two youth and recovered from their possession three motorcycles which they were alleged to have stolen from different Rajouri areas. Police sources said acting on a specific information, cops led by Inspector Yashpal Singh Jamwal conducted a raid at village Fatehpur under the jurisdiction of Thanamaandi police station and recovered one stolen motorcycle bearing registration No JK02BE-5389 from the possession of Navid Anjum, son of Mushtaq Ahmed, who was also arrested by police. On his disclosure police also raided a house in Sheema Crossing area in the heart of Rajouri town and 2 motorcycles bearing registration Nos JK02R-3397 and JK11-8421 were recovered from the possession of Mohammad Sahil, son of Jameel Ahmed who was also arrested by the police. Before the police could arrest two more accused involved in the crime, both managed to escape.
A case FIR No 489/2015 under section 379 RPC stands registered in this connection at Rajouri police station against the accused, said SSP, Rajouri. |
