Kishtwar DC holds public darbar, orders detachment of teachers

Kishtwar, Oct 1: Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Saugat Biswas accompanied by ACD Kishtwar Akthar Hussain Qazi and sector officers of all line departments conducted a tour to Mugalmaidan and Chatroo tehsils and convened an Awami Darbar in which a huge gathering of people including Panchs and Sarpanchs participated wherein they projected their demands in respect of drinking water, power, road connectivity, Medicare , civic facilities , dilapidated and damaged school buildings, pending liability of MGNERGA, land compensation, plight of Kishtwar Chatroo road, acute dearth of teachers in schools, lack of accommodation in school buildings and stagnation of work on different kinds of link roads.
DC Kishtwar assured the participants that matter would be taken up with all line departments and the speedy action will be witnessed very soon on ground. He assured the public in general that all kinds of liabilities will be cleared very soon and directed all the sectoral officers to speed up the process within a week's time.
One of the delegation of Mugalmaidan apprised Biswas regarding the havocs to their crops caused due to the damaged pipe lines in the areas of Rahal, Mochipura, Thal Gujjar basti, for that DC directed the PHE authorities to immediately mend the same for the public interest. The water canal dispute from Dhamwal to Tagood was also discussed, the enquiry of which is already lying in the office of ADDC Kishtwar. Taking serious note in sluggish enrollment for Aadhar card, he directed the concerned to speed up the process and install the special camps, to cover the left outs.
In education sector DDC Kishtwar directed ZEO Inderwal to detach all the teachers immediately to their original place of posting so that the poor students may not suffer any more and he further warned that if any teacher did not report to their original place of postings strict action will be initiated against them.
