Yogi Criticizes JKSSB for postponement of written tests
11/15/2015 11:07:11 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
BHADERWAH, NOV 15: J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) should establish written test centres for the candidates hailing from Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts in their respective areas because they are not in a postion to reach Jammu or Srinagar again and again when there is inflation , these words are said by Janta Dal Secular state President Masth Nath Yogi while addressing a press conference here today.
Yogi alleged the aspirants who had travelled to Jammu for appearing in the exams scheduled for 14 Nov were aghast over the postponement of the same and urged the authorities to set up a centre in any part of the Chenab region so that they don't face such hardships in the future. He criticized the JKSSB authorities for the postponement and demanded that a separate examination centre should be allotted for aspirants hailing from Chenab region . "This way the aspirants from different far flung and remote areas could easily appear in the JKSSB written examination", he said.Lambasting the JKSSB authorities for what he called "showing callous attitude towards the aspirants and playing with their career", Yogi said that the sudden announcement without any advance notice regarding postponement of examinations from the last two months has created great inconvenience to the candidates.
He said thousands of aspirants from different parts of Chenab region reached Jammu few days back to appear in the written examination but were disappointed due to the postponement."It is very hard for umempolyed youth of Padder , Saraz , Bhadewah, Bhalessa, Banihal , Ramban , Marmath , Marwah , Warwan and other areas to appear in the exams in Jammu as stay and travel costs us dearly", he said and demanded that the cost of a form for various posts should be fixed as 20 Rs per form instead of 400 .
