JAMMU, Nov 15: A Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) in Jammu district is using his political connections to prevent his transfer. The officer, it is believed has close proximity with a minister.
Sources told Early Times that the Dy SP ranked police officer was posted in some outer area of the city at the behest of the Minister, however, of late his activities have come to the notice of senior police officers who are contemplating to shunt him out from his present place of posting.
Sensing he may be transferred, the Dy SP is making rounds of his political boss in order to save his chair. Sources said that the Dy SP, who hails from the constituency of a BJP minister, using his influence got the posting in city outskirts from where the then incumbent of the post was shifted to Traffic wing. |
