DIG frequents restaurant with female friend 11/15/2015 11:57:10 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 15: A senior police officer is found absent in his office these days as he is spending most of the time with a female friend in a famous restaurant in Jammu, setting tongues wagging in the Police Department. "The audacity of the officer, who is of the rank of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and posted in one of the wings of the department, could be gauged from the fact that even as some colleagues have seen him frequenting the restaurant with the lady, gives a damn to everything while spending hours at the restaurant," sources told Early Times. They alleged that the DIG was having an affair with the woman for quite some time now and that both of them have been seen together by several people many a time. "For the purpose of meeting the woman, who also happens to be an officer in some other department, the DIG is using a friend's vehicle instead of his official car. Moreover, the DIG and his woman friend were also noticed at some rest houses located in the outer areas of the city," sources said. "DIG's woman friend was a frequent visitor to his office when he was posted as Senior Superintendent of Police. Nobody was allowed to enter the cabin of the senior officer for hours together during the stay of the lady at the place. Clear instructions were passed on to the staff for not letting anybody inside the cabin when the woman was inside," they added. Sources said now when the DIG is not officiating an important posting, he has enough time to meet his woman friend outside his office.
