| Hit and Run case: Cop crushed to death, accused held | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 15 : Gharota Police arrested the youth, who after hitting the cop to death, went underground. The cop namely Anil Kumar was hit by a Scarpio vehicle bearing registration number JK11A/1137, driven by Vishal Kumar of Rajouri during late hours of Saturday. Leaving the cop in a pool of blood, the accused fled from the spot. The incident of hit and run was taken place near the Thathi bridge. The cop was rushed to the sub district hospital at Akhnoor where he was declared as brought dead. A case in this connection was got registered by police besides, make the seizure of the vehicle effective
