AISF gives call of 'March to Parliament'

DOda, Nov 15: All India Students Federation National Council has given a call of 'Chalo Parliament' (March to Parliament) on 17th of November on the 100th martyr's day of great Freedom fighter Shaheed Kartar Singh Sarava against increasing intolerance and communalism and attacks on the education and rights to education and for equal education and employment for all.
National President Com Valiullah Khadri said that AISF reviewed there the increasing attacks on education, educational rights, scientific temper of education, history, science and our national unity, sovereignty and the tradition of tolerance in the country by the new government of the country. CBCS, RUSA, Central university act and attempts at incorporating higher education in WTO - GATS are all the tools of commercialization of education and attempts at excluding the children of the general public, especially the poor from quality education.
