JAMMU, Nov 15: Hiranagar Club Kathua today blanked Singh Club Bandurakh 6-0 in the Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament, organised by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at K K Hakhu Stadium, here.
Sanjay (sixth), Digvijay (26th), Rohit Sharma (28th), Vishal Verma (35th) and Shelav Sharma (50th and 59th) were the scorers.
Meanwhile, in another scheduled match of the day, Guru Nanak Nagar Hockey Club held Young Star, Simbal Camp to a goalless draw. Both the teams played attacking game but failed in their attempts to break the defence of each other. Dr Taranjeet Singh and JB Singh Bali were special guests in today's matches, who interacted with the teams. |
