| Why a law is not imposed to punish the political party? | | | Er. Jitender Kohli
Normally everyone is asking here and there why his rights are not delivered in toto? Constitutionally the rights are ensured in democratic system to enjoy free speech, religion worship, and culture of caste, regional living style, to study, earning opportunities, and form family by marriage of choice, to travel each national corner, contest any governing post, criticize or appreciate anything and anyone, fight to get constitutional justice in Honourable Court of law and watch the governmental working. This all is automatically granted till nonexistence of political interference.
The political parties are bound to generate numbers of voters to reach the state seats. To attain it need formation of groups to bring masses under their wings this has intruded to the educational institutions. Political pollution has polluted the youth mind on religion, caste and regional sections. The associations in educational institutions, universities are being patronage by political parties which has pushed the youth to the individual enmities. This has side tracked the national interests and their national patriotism. These political parties are using these youth as fodder damaging their study time also disturbing their concentration. Problems of students with or within educational institutions have no link with the national political system. That can be settled right therein if the student associations demand or oppose within the educational institutional rules. It has no right to bring the religion, caste or regional colour with political indulging. The reservation is required at the time of admission and there after the entire student bunch is equally taught and taken care of no special care is needed or allowed for it.
Leaders need raw brain of students to cultivate for their personal and political benefits so they poison their mind to the extent that they forget being next generation to serve and defend the nation instead stoop low to burn the national flag.
On the other side the leaders are misguiding the poor and illiterate section of the society bringing them to streets to protest for issue and non-issues demanding the resignation of the Ministers and officers of particular departments. It means they aim to defunct the government system at any cost and this costs the nation.
The street protests turn violent why one has to seriously analyze it. The protest march or rally is allowed within the law of land which ensures that no common people are disturbed or public property damaged. The leaders who organize these rallies or processions ensure to be peaceful and to obey the granted permission on their assurance. Why the persons leading the protest processions start breaking barricades erected to tell them the place up to which they are allowed to demonstrate against or in favour of their march. Barricades need to be honoured, the part of that road is to be used to demonstrate which doesn't obstruct traffic movement which may be carrying one to hospital or to join duty or alone lady on the road for home. If there is no short alter traffic route then these protesting people need to be on the side tracks leaving the road open for smooth traffic flow. But all this is not done. The leaders of the political parties have sent their organizers to handle these people to bring big news and create such atmosphere to add fire to the agitation. It turns violent breaking barricades, stoning police force, damaging public property and instigating police to use force against the violent mob. The planners who framed this entire show are not among the violent mob, the on-spot instigators disappear and the common people are let loose to hostile situation. Many agitators and police personnel are injured some time death occurs. The injured and dead person is always from the common and poor section of the society no leader or of their family are among such ill fate people.
Such incidents are created to the ugly situations to stall the assembly and parliament sessions. Crores of money is wasted from the public exchequer by stalling these sessions, damaging the public property and indirectly severely harming the society on the whole.
None is made responsible for it, but inquiry is demanded and accepted to pinpoint the culprit of police action taken to disburse the violent mob. The defender is culprit and the violent is victim, none ask to locate who injured the police personnel. None raises voice to locate who instigated this violence. None ask for who funded and organized the stones, bricks and other lethal instruments to mob.
Are such organizers are above the land law? No not at all, then why they are not booked for it? Does it political understand between the parties to let the leaders free? Is it a political understanding to punish one from public or police to cool down in wait of next violent agitation? No it is not acceptable to the nation and its society. Then what to seek to get rid of such manipulations where loss of life, public property, unforeseen uncounted loss and harassment to common people and further more loss to the public exchequer by compensating the agitators in cash and job is borne by nation?
Why a law is not imposed to punish the political party, whose agitation turns violent, damages public property, harasses common people, blocks traffic movement? The government may access all the financial losses to recover from the defective party. The party which stalls assembly and parliament business should financially be penalized and if it repeats must be debarred from next session.
There should be a limit of political parties to curb the mushroom of such parties which have no base or public backup. Still they instigate common people in the name of religion, reservation, region or other flimsy issues. These groups are picked up by opposing political parties who use them as offensive arm to blackmail government. Is it not blackmailing the government by burning train bogies, attacking police stations burning public property, creating violent scenes on roads and in universities seeking reservation or resignation of Ministers? If agitating heads are counted it becomes to a microscopic count but the leaders who stand behind projects as entire nation stands for it.
Not only society but the judiciary also needs seriously to consider it worth treating. Why to delay check to this damaging attitude of political parties?
